#TopTenTuesday Books I’d like to see on the big screen

Last night I went to see Beauty and the Beast 3D. I’ve never seen the show in theaters because I was too young when it came out and then when I was old enough it was on VHS. I feel so old saying VHS, but there it is. Beauty and the Beast is by far my favorite Disney movie and favorite Disney Princess.

While seeing the opening credits roll across the screen, you know, the Disney symbol, and all I could think about was Chronicles of Narnia and Pirates of the Caribbean, and subsequently Johnny Depp. I also thought about Kaliel and Avristar and Disney turning that into 3D. Sure my book is darker than Chronicles of Narnia, but there’s still a lot of enchantment in it. I could see it on the big screen.

That being said, here’s some other books I’d like to see on the big screen.

Top Ten List of Books I’d like to see on the big screen:

#10 – The Tower of Parlen Min by Matt Xell

#9 – Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

#8 – Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick

#7 – Ashfall by Mike Mullin

#6 – The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

#5 – Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

#4 – Myst – The Book of Ti-Ana by Rand Miller

#3 – Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

#2 – The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa

#1 – The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

What about you? If you could have any book made into a movie which would it be?
