FOLLOW: Life changing books, ARCs & personal feelings

Welcome to another Follow Friday!

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?)

You people are all gonna make me cry soon, I mean it. I was just thinking about this today and I have to say the game changing book for me was City of Glass by Cassandra Clare. There is something about the way she writes that taught me so much about my own writing. I wouldn’t be the author that I am without her.

Q. Taking it Personal: Which books have effected you on a personal level and lingered in your mind long after you closed the pages?

Okay, this question is a lot like the one on Parajunkee this week so really, my answer is the same, City of Glass by Cassandra Clare really stuck out in my mind.

Q. What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?

I was really happy I got approved at netgalley for Rae Carson’s Girl of Fire and Thorns actually. I’m all good for ARCs right now! But oh, Clockwork Prince is coming soon, hmm, I’d love to figure out how to bribe a copy of that out of Cassie Clare . . .
