FOLLOW: drowning in books, author luncheons, & epic fantasy woes

I feel so late to the Follow Friday fun, but here we go!

Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

1. Maggie Stiefvater, because she’s quirky and awesome.
2. Cassandra Clare, because she’s unfuckingbelievable.
3. Beth Revis, because we’d have so many laughs.

Q. What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?

Epic Fantasy. I know, but every time I look at an epic fantasy book I just cringe. I did try Huntress, didn’t like it, did try Entwine, didn’t like it, and so now I’m done for the time being.

I wrote an epic fantasy so this is really a conundrum for me. I’m all into my world, but nobody else’s apparently.

Bookshelf Tour: Where do you keep your books at home?
Are they organized?

Mine are everywhere . . . I should post some pictures later to show you but literally, every wall in my front room, to the ceiling is covered in book shelves. Then there’s a shelf next to my bed, another at the foot of my bed and a bookshelf on my headboard where I keep books. I literally live surrounded by books.
