Michelle over at Simon & Schuster e-mailed me today (because I’m finally on their mailing list) about Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick coming out. She asked for a blog post dedicated to the coming release and so here it is!
I feel sad that I can’t be in Brampton, ON on October 27th, but I’ll be in Winnipeg, MB. waiting for William Shatner and Kevin Sorbo to arrive at the Central Canada Comic Con.
In celebration of Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick, I thought I’d let you know that Hush Hush was the first YA book I read after the Twilight series. It was the first book that made me realize what YA is supposed to look like and I immediately fell in love with the book.
Hands down, Patch is one of my favorite characters ever. I love the grunge, the mystery, the genuine concern underneath all of his tough exterior and his bad choices. I mean he wouldn’t be a bad boy if he hadn’t made some bad choices with that Marcie Millar in Crescendo. I haven’t been lucky enough to score an ARC of Silence, but you can bet it’s on my TBR list.
It’s nice when you can pick up a book and you know it’s going to be good.
Okay, keeping it short and crossing my fingers that I win a copy of this excellent book!
